The Rebound Play by Kate O’Keeffe

The Rebound Play by Kate O’Keeffe was such a sweet hockey romance! Was it hockey realistic? No, of course not. But was it cute? Was it sweet? Did it make me happy to read? Yes!
This is Not a Holiday Romance by Camilla Isley

This is Not a Holiday Romance by Camilla Isley is an easy entry into the Holiday Romance season. This is an extremely quick read with just enough spice, angst, and, of course, romance, to set the mood for the month to come!
Star Crossed by Heather Guerre

Star Crossed by Heather Guerre is my second book by this author and I continue to really enjoy her writing! I feel like I don’t normally go for alien/space romances, but this one really hit the spot! It was sweet, spicy, and had the slightest bit of angst.
Dark Seduction by Sarah Piper

So, I picked Dark Seduction by Sarah Piper up immediately after finishing the first book in the Vampire Royals series and, unfortunately, after finishing this book, I immediately started the third book. So, this review is going to be a bit vaguer than usually because I honestly cannot remember where one book ended and the […]
Alpha Ruined by Liliana Carlisle

I saw Alpha Ruined by Liliana Carlisle on booktok and knew I needed to check it out. A stalker that fills your fridge because you’ve got nothing to eat in the house? That’s amore. Now, this is the second book in the Alpha Stalker series, and I was worried I wouldn’t like it after disliking the first book. Thankfully, this book really delivered where the first failed. There was romance and build-up and it was simply a good, solid read!
Alpha Inmate by Liliana Carlisle

When I picked up Alpha Inmate by Liliana Carlisle, I was deep into my exploration of omegaverse and reading more of that subgenre. I chose this book after seeing a booktok about the second in this series and, because I am who I am, I decided I absolutely HAD to start with the first book, despite the two being standalone. Sadly, this one was a bit of a disappointment to me.
Deviant by Callie Hart

After seeing so much hype over Quicksilver, I wanted to try something else by the same author because I knew it’d be some time before I could give that book a go. That said, I picked up Deviant by Callie Hart and it was just not for me. I love dark romance. I’m pretty good with a lot. But this just didn’t do it for me.
The C*ck Down the Block by Amy Award

So, I’ve seen The C*ck Down the Block by Amy Award for some time on TikTok and just around goodreads, etc. Every time I thought man, what a cheeky cover and title, too bad I don’t care for football. Honestly, I don’t know why I let that hold me back. This was such a fun and cute read that definitely has me wanting to continue with the Cocky Kingmans series!
The Marriage Hex by Sarah Blue

Would I recommend The Marriage Hex by Sarah Blue? Yeah, I think I would if you’re looking for a cute and quick paranormal romance. It isn’t going to revolutionize the genre, but it is going to leave you feeling warm and fuzzy. If you liked Bride, and want more like that, you’ll love this!
Hot Blooded by Heather Guerre

I have no idea how I found Hot Blooded by Heather Guerre. I’m betting I was probably just searching through different recs on either storygraph, goodreads, or amazon and thought yes, I would like an older FMC/vampire romance. I am honestly SO happy I picked this up! This book itself was great, and it made me pick up a few others by the same author.
How to Help a Hungry Werewolf by Charlotte Stein

I picked up How to Help a Hungry Werewolf by Charlotte Stein because I thought the cover was cute and the description sold me on this being a cutesy enemies to lovers romance. Honestly, I was pretty disappointed, which really made me sad because I wanted to love this. A lot didn’t make sense and didn’t care to make sense. Female main character Cassie was practically a doormat and dense as heck. Male main character, surprisingly, also a doormat. All the troubles were of their own making. It simply didn’t flow and didn’t do it for me.
Dark Deception by Sarah Piper

Okay, I’m going to be completely honest with you guys. The main reason I picked up Dark Deception by Sarah Piper was sincerely because of narrator Shane East. I fell in love with his voice and narration style in a previous audiobook and just went through amazon to find anything he narrated that might check my boxes. This absolutely did it and surpassed my expectations! I went in expecting a vapid vampire romance with crepe paper thin plot and instead found an abundance of spice and plot that left me breathless.
Lovely Violent Things by Trisha Wolfe

I honestly was on the fence about picking up Lovely Violent Things by Trisha Wolfe after finishing the first in the series. Yes, the first one ended in a cliffhanger that really intrigued me and wanted me to keep reading, but it wasn’t engaging enough to push it as a priority. Alas, a coworker pushed me into continuing the series since she wanted to know what happened next. I’m glad I gave in because this second installment in the Hollow’s Row series gave me everything the first book lacked!
Blood Feud by Moira Kane

When I wanted to find a simple, dragon shifter romance, Blood Feud by Moira Kane was there and it filled that want so extremely well!
Rising Sun by Donna Grant

I fell through a rabbit hole of clicking around, looking for something new to read when I found Rising Sun by Donna Grant. It had pretty good ratings, so I decided to pick up the audiobook to listen to at work. When I tell you that I’ve never been gladder to find a book at random! Narrator Shane East? To die for. The slow burn? Burned. This was just such a great romantasy!
