Steel Princess is book two of Royal Elite series and should be read after Deviant King. This is a dark high school bully romance, mature new adult, and contains dubious situations that some readers might find offensive.
This book is part of a trilogy and is NOT standalone. The entire trilogy is available

review

The second I finished Deviant King, I picked up Steel Princess by Rina Kent because I NEEDED to know what happened next. Caution, this might have spoilers for Deviant King as this is book 2 in that trilogy. This continues to be a DARK romance with bully tendencies but the biggest jump from book 1 to book 2 is the plot progression.

We begin with Elsa drowning and a short glimpse into her mysterious past she cannot remember. And as we work through the novel, Elsa and Aiden continue their back and forth, this time being pulled apart by family and the past. We meet new characters and get to know more about the core group. What really just stole my breath was one of the revelations we learn – what exactly is the tie that bonds Elsa and Aiden together. The smut remains top notch and Aiden continues to be just a bit messed up, but this time, I get it.

Did you love Deviant King? Then you absolutely need to pick up Steel Princess by Rina Kent. We go deeper into Elsa and Aiden’s scarring past and continue this incredibly fucked up high school romance. Be wary, you will absolutely need to have the third book purchased and ready to go because it ends on a killer cliffhanger.
