The Christmas Tree Farm by Melody Carlson
The Christmas Tree Farm by Melody Carlson is a very quick and easy holiday read. I wanted to give his a shot because I thought the cover was cute and who doesn’t love how very Hallmark the idea of falling in love at a Christmas tree farm. That said, this did have some pacing issues and then became a bit religious toward the end which left me just feeling like this was a weird read.

Little Stranger by Leigh Rivers
Okay listen. I didn’t think I’d be reading Little Stranger by Leigh Rivers either but here we are. Yes, I love dark romances but I never really delved into taboo because I had hoped to maintain at least a shred of normalcy? But, well, booktok audio got me and I had to pick up the audiobook. It was SO GOOD! SO DARK! I think this might be the darkest romance I’ve picked up so far

Unwrapping Romance by Sandi Lynn
Unwrapping Romance by Sandi Lynn was a really weird read. It should have been an easy three star read for me as it was a billionaire forced proximity holiday romance, check check check. But the writing itself didn’t read right. I honestly had to see if the author had written anything previously only to be surprised by how many books she’s published – close to 100? You absolutely do not get that when reading this.

My Favorite Holidate by Lauren Blakely
Somehow, I completely missed My Favorite Holidate by Lauren Blakely until earlier this week. I saw the amazing cast of narrators and knew I had to pick this up. I have been obsessively reading this because it is just so good and different from the other holiday romances I’ve read so far this year! This is actually just such a great romance in general with characters and problems that feel real.

The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year by Ally Carter
Right at the start I am going to tell you, pick up The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year by Ally Carter. Hands down an easy five star book! Five star not just for holiday romance, but five star romance in general. Absolutely fell in LOVE with this.

Dark Obsession by Sarah Piper
Dark Obsession by Sarah Piper brings to a conclusion the trilogy that is Dorian and Charlotte’s romance. This might be the only trilogy where it has stayed consistently good. I was worried that things would fizzle for this third book, but it continued to give everything the series is known for. There was spice, angst, and violence!

Window Shopping by Tessa Bailey
Heartwarming and spicy, Window Shopping by Tessa Bailey is a solid holiday romance read. What really made this special, however, was the audiobook because wow!
