To end the holiday romance season, an absolutely adorable Hanukkah romance! I was purposely looking for a Hanukkah romance considering the market is so overly saturated with only Christmas romances when they market it as holiday romances. Love You a Latke by Amanda Elliot was the one that looked cute and fit what I was looking for. Expectations were absolutely met and surpassed! This was a cute, closed door romance that very much embodied the spirit of Hanukkah, while also left me feeling homesick.
All I Want for Xmas is a Vampire by Amity Grey
Never let it be said that I am not easily swayed by a pretty cover and buzzwords. That is how I ended up picking up All I Want for Xmas is a Vampire by Amity Grey as my final Christmas romance. Sadly, this did end up disappointing me as it didn’t feel like Christmas and didn’t feel like romance.
All I Want is You by Falon Ballard
We get to my only five star non audiobook of the season! I wasn’t sure what to expect when I picked up All I Want is You by Falon Ballard. I normally don’t enjoy second chance romance but I figured tis the season so let’s see if I can be convinced. And I could! The angst made sense and didn’t feel shoehorned in and the romance made my heart feel.
A Very Fantasy Christmas by Chelsea Starling
You’d think after reading 15+ Christmas/holiday romances in the span of thirty days, everything would begin to blur together. And it absolutely did with the majority of them thanks to the lack of creativity and variety. It’s why I was so hopefully when I found A Very Fantasy Christmas by Chelsea Starling. It filled a niche which has been severely lacking. The whimsy and emotion in this collection had me smiling and crying in equal measure.
The Christmas Tree Farm by Laurie Gilmore
This is my first intro to the Dream Harbor series and when I tell you, The Christmas Tree Farm by Laurie Gilmore was just so cute and good! I absolutely want to read more of this series. The characters were fun and well thought out, the pacing steady, and the romance sweet.
