Firefighter Dragon by Zoe Chant

I never realize it’s Zoe Chant until I’m a third of the way through, loving it, and then look to see who the author is. Firefighter Dragon by Zoe Chant, I have no idea how I found this but I loved it! It was a super short read that was cute with a bit of […]

Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven

This book absolutely devastated me. Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven absolutely became my a top read of 2025 and an all time favorite. I don’t think I remember a time where I’ve cried more than I did with this. The writing is beautiful. We get current day chapters mixed in with snippets of Arden […]

Finlay Donovan Digs Her Own Grave by Elle Cosimano

Obviously spoilers for the previous books in this series Oh my god, the way the previous book ended in the series had me DESPERATE for Finlay Donovan Digs Her Own Grave by Elle Cosimano to be released. This absolutely has been the best book of the series, and definitely the one with the most heart. […]

Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice by Elle Cosimano

Picking up directly after Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun, we catch Finlay and Vero coming home after the disastrous citizens academy. Though, technically, Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice by Elle Cosimano literally starts with them on the side of the road as Steven preps himself to brave multiple lanes of highway traffic on foot. This […]

Sweet Berries by CM Nascosta

In for a penny, in for a pound. That’s what I told myself as I picked up Sweet Berries by CM Nascosta, the second in the Cambric Creek series after Morning Glory Milking Farm. I don’t know what I expected out of this, but Nascosta continues to make sweet monster romances with spice and so […]

My Sinful Nights by Lauren Blakely

I wanted something short and steamy to listen to at work, so I picked up My Sinful Nights by Lauren Blakely, knowing how much I love her work in general. This was no exception. Joe Arden and Andi Arndt are perfect narrating Brent and Shannon. Arden was perfectly able to capture the immense amounts of […]

Veronica Ruiz Breaks the Bank by Elle Cosimano

This half book is the definition of filler. I picked up Veronica Ruiz Breaks the Bank by Elle Cosimano hoping to learn more about Vero and better tolerate her. Friends, this was not it. I’m not sure it really added anything to the series and definitely didn’t make Vero any more likeable. In fact, all […]

The Stranger by Albert Camus

This year, I decided I wanted to start using audiobooks to read classic literature I likely would never get around to otherwise. First up, The Stranger by Albert Camus. This caught me so off-guard. I don’t know what I was expecting, but what I read definitely stayed with me and filled me with the urge […]

You Are Fatally Invited by Ande Pliego

I was drawn in by the title when I first picked up You Are Fatally Invited by Ande Pliego. Then, was sold on the story by the sinister synopsis. A murder mystery with real murders? Delectable! Mysteries and Thrillers are always such an interesting genre for me because it’s so hard to find a good […]

Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun by Elle Cosimano

The deeper I get into this series, the better the books become! Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun by Elle Cosimano was, to date, my favorite of the series! Yes, there is still hijinx, but this time, it really isn’t Finlay’s (or Vero’s) fault. Blackmailed into finding the contract killer she found herself competing with last […]

Mail Order Minotaur by Lilith Stone

I guess I’m in my minotaur romance era and just can’t stop! There’s just something so good about minotaurs (it’s the size diff I’m betting) and mates. Mail Order Minotaur by Lilith Stone definitely hit the spot. It was a cute romance with decent spice. The pacing was pretty quick and the romance was definitely […]

Finlay Donovan Knocks ‘Em Dead by Elle Cosimano

The second in the series, Finlay Donovan Knocks ‘Em Dead by Elle Cosimano settles from the chaotic debut jitters into something really steady and enjoyable. I felt like this book definitely found its voice and path. Everything starts to settle as Finlay gains a bit of financial stability and the threat of having custody of […]

The Whispering Night by Susan Dennard

Oh, the Luminaries series, my beloved. I have been feral, waiting for the release of The Whispering Night by Susan Dennard, the final (for now?) installment in her paranormal YA series. So much was happening at all times and we learned more about the world, along with some extra background building. This was so close to perfect, stumbling just a little toward the end.

The Art of Avoiding Your Alpha by Lola Glass

The second book in the Wildwood series, The Art of Avoiding Your Alpha by Lola Glass, remains cute and steamy, though is pretty much a rinse and repeat of the first book. It honestly didn’t bother me because it’s a good formula and I’m not going into these paranormal romances expecting someone to reinvent the […]

Finlay Donovan is Killing It by Elle Cosimano

A friend recommended this series to me, having read it as it came out. When I was offered the opportunity to review the series before the latest is released, I jumped at the chance. Finlay Donovan is Killing It by Elle Cosimano is wild and frenetic in its storytelling, throwing so much into every page it left me in a whirlwind. But, it adds to the charm for this first book in the series, letting me relate to the chaos our protagonist lives with daily.
