Bearly Mated by Lola Glass is such a short but cute read! I wanted something simple with a bit of spice that I could read while on the treadmill and this fit the bill perfectly. The premise is really interesting. There’s a bear shifter community and they pay humans to have their cubs. It becomes like a guarantee they’ll be taken care of because bear shifters never remain with their mate (but also never take another mate again.) How sad is that! Callie is a great FMC who isn’t afraid to call out Hudson’s bullshit and excuses as to why he’s kept his difference. Hudson, meanwhile, is such a great MMC. I love how possessive and in love he is with Callie. He wants her enough to want better. The spice was good, and obviously you know you’re in for breeding kink considering that’s the entire premise. I definitely think I’d recommend this for anyone looking for a quick, sweet and sexy shifter mates book to read and keep your mind occupied for close to an hour.
