I was deep in the mood for something a bit fluffy, a bit smutty, with some friends-to-lovers and The Wild Side by Cassie-Ann L Miller fit the bill perfectly! I loved the characters and the romance. Cash and Meghan have been friends for years and watching them struggle with wanting to preserve their friendship despite being attracted to each other was intense. It was obvious they cared and had been in love with one another for a long time, but their own traumas kept them convinced they couldn’t be enough – that they were destined to destroy whomever they ended up with romantically. This was sweet, cozy, and steamy and absolutely everything I expected and desired! I definitely think I’m going to pick up the next book in this series.
